Wellington is blessed with superb transportation facilities: the Kansas Turnpike (I-35), highway 160, two rail lines, and a fine airport. Few cities combine such services with a location near the center of the country.

   Highways

Interstate 35, the Kansas Turnpike, connects Minnesota to Mexico, serving as the main street of the heart of the US.

Get back on  which runs east-west across the southern part of Kansas.

Highway US-81 connects Wellington to Wichita and Enid, Oklahoma.
