It's only ten minutes to beautiful Lake Wilson which includes 9000 acres of recreational water with a shoreline of over 100 miles. Excellent facilities exist for fishing, boating, water skiing, swimming and family activities.Sylvan Grove is adjacent to over 10,000 acres of Federal and State Wildlife Management Areas -- most include public hunting.
A stone double-arch bridge is located nine miles north of Sylvan on Highway K-181. It was a meeting place for three different ethnic groups in the settling days of the area.
