- Strong City Park at 5th and Cottonwood St.
Established in 1939 - Playground, shelter house and picnic facilities.
Strong City Fire Station is located adjacent to this park.
W.B. Strong Memorial Railroad Park in downtown Strong City.
Most commonly called Caboose Park, the park was established in 1997 through a matching ISTEA grant from KDOT and is located downtown by the Santa Fe Depot. This park contains picnic tables, flower beds, walkways and an authentic Santa Fe Caboose.
Chase State Fishing Lake - located 3 miles from Strong City.
This 109 acre lake, which was constructed in 1954, is located in the center of the scenic Flint Hills region of Kansas. The lake and surrounding 383 acre wildlife area are owned and managed by the Kansas Dept. of Wildlife and Parks. In addition to fishing, visitors will find camp sites and a shelter house.

Camp Wood YMCA is an ACA accredited YMCA camp sitting atop the Cottonwood River Valley and overlooking the spaciousness of the Flint Hills. Located within 5 miles of Strong City, this camp consists of 630 acres of prairie and holds a variety of camps for all ages.
