- Held the first full weekend in June, this is the oldest consecutive rodeo in the state of Kansas. It is one of the largest P.R.C.A. approved rodeos in the nation and attracts over 20,000 visitors each year, drawing contestants from all over the world. The annual Rodeo Parade starts at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday and begins at Swope Park in Cottonwood Falls Schedules for the other rodeos held throughout the summer and fall can be found at their website.
Chase County Country Christmas
- This event is held the Saturday after Thanksgiving and is sponsored by the Chase County Chamber of Commerce. The festivities and attractions include the Courthouse lighting, Mr. and Mrs. Claus, Arts & Crafts Fair, Holiday Home
Tours, and a Community Dance along with other special events planned for
the day.
