Story Area in Moundridge, KS library
  • Displays changing monthly feature artwork and collections from the community.
     
  • Story Hour is held at 9 and again at 10 on Wednesdays. It's open to children from 3 through kindergarten.

Children's Area in Moundridge, KS library
The Moundridge Public Library was founded in the late 1960s through the efforts of a local women's group and the regional library system and using a build owned by USD 423. The first board meeting on February 27, 1967 appointed Jean Oltmans as librarian. Most of the initial holdings were donated.

In June of 1968 the board asked asked the city for tax support. The library moved to its current location in 1974.
