Help! We are looking for a map formally owned by Mrs. Eugene Taylor published by The Osage County Sentinel (operated in Lyndon) printed about 1870 and 1873 in celebration of the Centenial. If you know anything about this map, please contact us!
The Society is housed at the Lyndon Carnegie Library and has many materials available for research such as obituaries, county census records, and old newspapers. Court records can also be researched such as marriage records and land patents. Trips to the State Historical Society are also frequently made and research can be done there. The researcher for the Society is Sarah Walker-Hitt. She has researched County history for over 20 years. Sarah is also an officer of the Historical Preservation Partnership of Lyndon.
