Easter Egg Hunt
- The Easter Bunny arrives in Lucas the Saturday before Easter for the annual Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by the Lucas Lions Club.
Wings Over Wilson
- Wings Over Wilson takes place every year the weekend between Mothers Day and Memorial Day. The Slope Challenge is a national contest of remote control glider planes that is held at Wilson Lake. For information call ALden Shipp at 785-525-6208.
Lucas Alumni Reunion
- The Lucas Alumni Reunion is held the Sunday of Memorial Weekend at the Lucas/Luray Gym.
Lucas Area Community Theater Hog Roast
- The Lucas Area Community Theater Hog Roast Fundraiser is held in the Lucas Area Community Theater Community Room on Main Street from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on the Saturday of Memorial Weeekend.
State K-18 Baseball Tournament
- The K-18 Baseball program for kids 12-15 years old was started in Lucas in 1949. Teams from all over northwest Kansas play in the association. The state tournament is held the last week of July in Lucas.
Adams Apple Festival
- The Adams Apple Festival is held the Saturday of Labor Day weekend.
The 2010 festival will be held Saturday 4th.

Tri-City Garage Sales
- The Tri-City Garage Sales are held the first Saturday in October. The 2010 sales will be on October 2nd. The towns of Lucas, Sylvan Grove and Wilson have over 50 garage sales.
Spook Parade
- The annual Spook Parade will be held on Halloween. Kids parade past judges to have their costumes judged. Treats are handed out to all then hot dogs will be served to the kids at the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church before they go "Trick or Treating".
Christmas Lighting Ceremony & Chamber Drawing
- This year the drawing will be held on November 28th at the Christmas Lighting Ceremony in the Lucas Mini Park. Drawing prizes will be a gift certificate for $50.00 and 2-$25.00 gift certificates, good at any Lucas Chamber business. The Christmas Lighting Ceremony will start at 6pm followed by hot chocolate and cookies at the Grassroots Art Center. Containers to put drawing entries in will be placed in chamber businesses on November first and will be left there until the afternoon of the 28th.
Santa Claus Day
- Santa arrives in Lucas the Saturday before Christmas. A Christmas movie is shown treats are given to all the kids and the merchants gifts are drawn for.
