Lenora is located in southern
Norton County,
[NT] just south of Highway 9.
Most of the town is on the south side of the Solomon River. The town site slopes up from the river with the schools on the ridge above town. There's a nice little downtown park & gazebo, and Larrick Park, the town's largest, is down near the river and railroad. In addition to an attractive location, Lenora is blessed with a strong economy. Agriculture is important, but Lenora is also home to Rural Telephone, a regional telecommuications company, and its subsidiary Nex-Tech.
