The Oracle
"THE ORACLE IS THE SUCCESSOR of several more or less successful school papers that we have had. But not until two years ago was the school paper made a strictly school publication. At that time each of the four classes elected a member of the editorial staff. These four representative students then organized and from the number elected an editor, an associate editor, a circulation manager and an advertising manager. Reporters were then chosen by each class to furnish news of the shool for the columns of the paper. ....." From the 1909 school yearbook
