Grow Herington is a group of Volunteers that are working together to improve the appearance of our community.  We are seeking volunteers to help paint homes this summer.  We are finishing the first 2 projects that we started and are making preparations for beginning our next project on Saturday, the 27th of June.  Volunteers are encouraged to contact the Chamber of Commerce office.  258-2115.

Yard of the Month

Yard of the Month is a new program that has been started in Herington this summer to encourage our neighborhoods to challenge each other by having the best looking yards possible.  The community is encouraged to nominate a "yard" by filling out a form at the City of Herington office or the Chamber of Commerce office.  A selection committee, will review the nominations each month and they will announce the winners.  We are really impressed with some of the beautiful yards that are proudly kept in our city.  This is a chance for some recognition for the hard work that goes into keeping yards looking so nice.
