Frisbee Golf Tournament at Father Padilla Park ~

Easter Egg Hunt ~

Young children are invited to search for prize eggs and candy in Father Padilla Park.

Many community residents host individual garage sales. Maps are available, and downtown activities and entertainment add fun.
Tri County Chamber Golf Tournament ~ Date to be announced later; Located Herington Country Club Golf Course, south of Herington.
Fireworks ~ July 4th: At Herington City Lake.

Pilgrimage of The Lights - 2009

Churches of the community jointly present more than a dozen outdoor scenes from the life and ministry of Christ, using live actors and animals. The 12 block driving route is lined with hundreds of hand lit luminaries. The event is held the first Saturday of December and is cancelled in the event of rain.
