DescriptionBelpre is located in the northeast corner of Edwards [ED] county. It has a large main square and was obviously a much bigger town once.
- The Belpre Church of Christ, built 1911, was a nice brick building but it's abandoned now.
- St. Bernard's Catholic Church at Olive & Hudson is an impressive structure built of dark brick.
- There is a nice yellow brick building labeled the "Henry Laird Library - 1912" across Wheeler Street from the park in downtown Belpre.
