The Kyle Railway also serves Agra. The town has gained some notoriety
since humorists added the letters "vi" before the name on
the watertower.

| History | Agra was possibly named for the Indian city where the
Taj Mahal is located. There are other versions for the source
of the name, however, one being that the town was named after the
daughter of an official of the Rock Island Railroad, perhaps one of
the daughters of President Low of the Chicago, Kansas and Nebraska
Railroad that ran through the town at that time.
