Mission Statement
The success of USD #291 is based on the active
participation of children, parents, teachers,
administrators, and community members.
We will provide the education needed to survive
and succeed socially and academically in an
ever-changing world.
Goals
USD 291 will provide the necessary educational opportunities to
meet the intellectual, physical, economic, social, and emotional needs
of every individual student.
Exit Outcomes
- 1. All students will demonstrate mastery in the basic academic skills.
- 2. All students will demonstrate maximum competency in effective communication.
- 3. All students will demonstrate the ability to apply learning and problem-solving skills
to new situations.
- 4. All students will become productive members of society by demonstrating their
ability to work effectively in groups and independently in a responsible fashion.
- 5. All students will demonstrate the good physical and emotional well-being necessary to
live a healthy and productive life.
- 6. All students will demonstrate the achievement of desirable social skills necessary
to be responsible to and compassionate for all members of society.
- 7. All students will demonstrate the ability to use creative thinking skills.
- 8. All students will demonstrate a literacy and application of technology.
- 9. All students will demonstrate competencies to be life-long learners.
