To clasp in our arms our boy.
The dawn of liberty's morning
Came to us at our hero's fall;
They sealed with their blood our
For us they gave their all.
God knoweth where each one is
Awaiting the judgment day,
The sickle of death in its reaping
Carried our loved one away.
Then be still sad heart, cease
They died our homeland to save,
And at our brave soldier's returning
Clasp their hand and smile and be
