The Tower

Tower, tower, tall tower,
Cloud tower, opal-white,
You are cornerstoned in the sunrise,
You have arches of dream-delight.

Body, body, earthbound
And broken of back with care,
I leave you behind, and instantly
Leap to that spire in air . . . .

Tower, tower, I mount you
Needing no wing, no stair. . . . .
