Sampson

Alphonso had a fleet
Which he thought we couldn't beat;
But Sampson met Cervera,
And Cervera met defeat.
Then Blanco he turned blank
As the Spanish navy sank.
And the ashes of Columbus
Fell trophy to the Yank.
