Lyrics are pure delight to me,
Like tasting nectar.
They have a star-like beauty,
A swift intensity
Of joy and pain.
 
Lyrics are the wistful yearning of a soul
For magic, for enchantment;
They are life's brevities:
Ineffable epitomes
Of God.
