The Fellow Who Didn't Take Time To See The Parade.
A BIG parade was passing through the street.
But he never looked up;
But straight ahead with his broom did sweep,
And everybody but
Him saw the elephants and yak and lion,
And the old grizzly bear;
But then he didn't have the time,
And so he didn't care.
But closely to his work he stuck,
And, in a year or so,
He hammered out his own good luck
And bought the whole blamed show.
