Cause And Effect.

TWAS only some berries__the goose__
    Growing near the garden wall; 
A boy found the berries__the goose__
    And ate them, the large and small. 
At midnight a cry was raised, 
    That grew to a terrible squall__
That boy wished he never had seen 
    Those berries__the goose__at all.
