2011 Notable Books
The State Library of Kansas and the Kansas Center for the Book announced in June the 2011 Kansas Notable Book List. Fiction, nonfiction, adult and children’s books are on the list which celebrates the best books published in 2010 by Kansas authors or about Kansas. Titles highlight Kansas’ diverse historical, literary, and cultural landscape. 2011 Kansas Reads to Preschoolers Title Announced

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom by Kansas author Bill Martin, Jr., is the selection for the 7th annual Kansas Reads to Preschoolers. The alphabet book is loaded with fun and bright and lively rhymes. Martin is a well-known Kansas author and this title is one of his best-known books.
