Next District 6 Meeting: Sat., April 27, 1 PM
Meeting will be at the
Hutchinson Public Library auditorium, 901 North Main St.,
Hutchinson.
A librarian will tell us about all the things the Hutchinson Public Library has to
help us in researching our writing.
Everyone is invited.
District 6 will announce results of our
District Writing Contest, which follows along with the KAC theme to be used at the
2013 KAC Convention in Wichita,
"Our Town: It's Not on Any Map; True Places Never Are." We are hoping the judges will give us some good critiquing to help with the state contest.
We are also working on our
convention planning for 2014, and have set our date and place, theme and keynote speaker.
Anyone interested in writing is welcome to attend.

Sat., Jun. 15, 2013, Town Crier Bookstore, 716 Commercial St., Emporia, from 11 AM to 1 PM. In past years they've had up to 57 local authors present!
