In an effort to boost our attendance we provided a free lunch for those who attended. We also offered anyone who joined KAC for the first time that Saturday a $5 reduction on the KAC joiners fee for the coming year.
Our speaker was Grant Williams, District 3, Arkansas City, who is a prolific writer of prose and poetry, with a number of books published. Grant was recently included on the Map of Kansas Literature.

Our speaker was Eunice Boeve, D6, Phillipsburg, who has written a number of historical fiction novels for young people, as well as numerous childrens books and articles.
We will also discuss the date, location and theme for the 2014 convention.
