Fall meeting: August 14

Carolyn Dooley, teacher, spoke on The Six Trait Analytical Method of Writing, used currently for writing instruction and evaluation of Kansas students. These traits–ideas and content, organization, word choice, voice, sentence fluency, and conventions–may be used to improve our own writing and our presentations for Writers in the Schools.

“Sarah” is a writer, stand-up comedienne. Sarah St. Peter is the pseudonym used by Deb Spires. Deb works for a computer company. She has written a book, To Die Laughing.

Great Bend Public Library, 1409 Williams Street, north door. The meeting room is on the lower level, accessible by stairway or elevator.
