Cathy Callen, District 2, has functioned as a State Treasurer in a proactive manner. She is responsible, courageous, and outspoken. Although she is a stickler for rules, she also looks to make the financial management of the organization seamless and less stressful for the members. She is good with forms and she helps all members with their filing issues with KAC finances. She has set a high bar for the position of KAC State Treasurer. Nominated by Prem Bajaj, District 5.
Involved in KAC since 1997, Doris Schroeder, District 6, has been a loyal and enthusiastic supporter of the organization. She has held various positions such as State Secretary, co-chair of State Convention, State Vice President and State President. She motivates others to work and has a graceful demeanor encouraging others to work for KAC. She was instrumental in the Centennial Celebration of KAC. Nominated by Anne Mart, District 6.
As District 5 President, Susan Howell is professional and encourages diversity in programs and membership. She also conducted a needs assessment of the membership to improve upon KAC activities. Susan has suggested the KAC Board to combine reports into the yearbook there by reducing redundancy and started new initiatives such as emailing reports prior to meetings to streamline and make meeting more productive. Nominated by Dixie Brown, District 5.
Since joining KAC, Susie Nightingale, District 2, has been very active member. She has held positions such as District 2 Secretary and President, and has served as head of the Nominating Committee.
