Outreach is vital to the success of any library program. The following are examples of senior centered programs developed and implemented in Kansas public libraries. NOTE: These links are to sites outside the OKIF website.

Bradford Memorial Library, El Dorado, KS Offers comprehensive services for seniors, homebound, and persons with physical impairments. Emporia Public Library Volunteers play a major role in the success of Emporia's homebound program. Johnson County Library Describes available outreach services. JCL also has a homebound program. Lawrence Public Library The Internet portal developed and maintained by the City of Lawrence and the Lawrence Public Library. Southeast Kansas Library System SEKLS offers a variety of special needs collections including recreation therapy items. Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library - Red Carpet A longstanding, award-winning department of the Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library providing specialized services.
