Robert Collins – Goessel State Bank building

Cheryl writes the “Flyover People” column for
Emporia Gazette and
has published a book of some of her columns. She will be giving
readings from the book.
1:30-2:30 p.m.
Cheryl will be available
to autograph her books. Robert Collins,
Andover, who haswritten a number of books on
Kansas
history and on railroads, will also be on hand to autograph his
books.
2:30-3:15
p.m.
Robert will talk about some of his work, with an emphasis
on Ghost Railroads of Kansas
Prairie Rose Rangers in Concert
7:30 p.m.
This nationally known group
from Benton,
Kan., will perform in concert in
the Goessel High School Auditorium. The group sings western
songs, from trail songs to contemporary cowboy music.
Admission is $10 advanced; $12 at the door. Doors will
open at 7 o’clock. Seating is limited, with no reserved seats,
so come early.
This concert is a benefit for
Mennonite
