A volunteer project of KanColl in partnership with the Kansas Sate Historical Society, this sites makes the Kansas Historical Quarterly journal available on the World Wide Web.

The Orphan Trains Of Kansas is organized as follows:  Stories, History, Newspaper Accounts, Graphics, and Reference. 

TERRITORIAL KANSAS ONLINE This site is a joint project of the Kansas State Historical Society and the Kansas Collection, University of Kansas Libraries. It details the "Bleeding Kansas" period of Kansas history from 1854-1861, and is targeted at middle and high school students and teachers. It includes lesson plans tied to the state's Kansas and U.S. history standards.

PRAIRIE SPIRIT RAIL TRAIL
The Prairie Spirit Rail Trail is a 33-mile multi-purpose path composed of compacted crushed limestone utilized for walking, bicycles, and wheelchairs.
