Join the Teen Advisory Board (TAB) at EPL!

This is your library, so make your voice heard! TAB gives you the opportunity to influence Teen Services at EPL. You’ll meet new friends and serve the community while gaining volunteer experience that will make you stand out when applying for jobs & college. Come share your ideas about on how to make the library a better place for teens. Anyone (age 13-19) is welcome to attend our meetings. Free food! Friends! Great experience!

Teen Advisory Board Meetings take place the last Wednesday of every month from 6:30 – 7:30.  Members of this group help the Teen Librarian plan and promote great teen programs, work on community service projects, discuss books, movies, music, and web sites, eat snacks, play games, and just have fun!  Membership also looks great on job and college applications and résumés.  If you are interested in this opportunity, please join us!  If you have questions, feel free to contact Amber at teens@emporialibrary.org.

Are there particular books or authors that you would like to see more of on the shelf? Is there an activity or program that you would like to suggest?

Just ask for Amber at the Reference Desk or e-mail Amber at teens@emporialibrary.org and we will do our best to make it happen! Amber is looking forward to meeting you and hearing your ideas!
