out the details!
We have 23 computers available for the public. There are
4 in the Children's Room and 19 in Adult Services.
In the Children's Room all 4 of the computers have Internet
access and the capacity to play CD-ROM games. The computers
are reserved for those in grades 6 and under. The computers
print to a central printer next to the Children's reference
desk. Printouts are $0.15 a page for black and white. Please
go here to view our Internet Use Policy.
In the Adult Services area 17 of those computers have Internet
access and one is dedicated to word processing. This includes
one station that is ADA compliant and handicap accessible.
Printing from the public computers is available. It is $0.15
per page for black and white and $1.00 per page for color
printing. We also have a computer in the Genealogy and Family
History Department for research only. This computer is connected
to our microfilm scanner that allows patrons to scan our collection
of newspapers and then save the scanned image as a digital
file. Printing off of the microfilm is available at $0.30
per page.
For those patrons that find using a regular mouse difficult,
we do have a stationary rolling ball mouse at your request.
Plug-ins for your headphones are available on most machines
and all offer Microsoft Office 2007. Only those in grade 7
or older can use the computers in the Adult Service's Area
on the second floor.
