Central Library in Troy
Astronomy For Everyone
Discover
the size and scale of the universe. Our kickoff event for this
year's summer library program will be on Tuesday,
May 29th at 2:00 pm at the Central Library in Troy. Kevin
Manning will take us on a virtual journey into the cosmos looking
at the very small and the very big. He is an
astrophysicist and former consultant with NASA. His passion for astronomy is strong and he wants to share his excitement
with you. I'd say that his mind is definitely in the stars, but they say he's one of the most down to earth guys you'll
every meet. There will be refreshments and door prizes following the program. Registration for the summer of fun
can be done before and after the program. Join us as we reach for the
stars!!
