Interlibrary Loan
Interlibrary Loan is available to all
patrons in good standing. The purpose is to obtain books or other
materials not owned by Bradford Memorial Library from other libraries.
Through reciprocal agreements we are able to obtain most materials for
free. However, the patron is responsible for any charges incurred.
Lost materials, damaged materials, and overdue fines are the
responsibility of the patron.
Interlibrary loans are sent through
the US mail or courier, so it may take 3-14 days for your item to arrive. Please keep this
in mind when making your request.
Request forms may be picked up at the
circulation desk in the library. One form should be filled out for each
request. After completing the request form, turn it in at the
circulation desk. If you have any questions you may call or
e-mail.
Return borrowed materials to the circulation desk.
Many lending libraries will not make Interlibrary Loan renewals, so we
cannot accept requests for renewals. Failure to return material by
the due date will jeopardize future ILL borrowing privileges and result
in overdue fines on the patron's record.
