are available year round. Donations are also accepted for the annual book sale held by the Friends of the Library.

Interlibrary Loan

Interlibrary Loan is available to all patrons in good standing. The purpose is to obtain books or other materials not owned by Bradford Memorial Library from other libraries. Through reciprocal agreements we are able to obtain most materials for free. However, the patron is responsible for any charges incurred. Lost materials, damaged materials, and overdue fines are the responsibility of the patron.

InterLibrary Loans are sent through the US mail and most take between 7 to 14 days. Please keep this in mind when making your request.

Request forms may be picked up at the circulation desk in the library. One form should be filled out for each request. After completing the request form, turn it in at the circulation desk. If you have any questions you may call or e-mail.

Return borrowed materials to the circulation desk. Many lending libraries will not make Interlibrary Loan renewals, so we cannot accept requests for renewals. Failure to return material by the due date will jeopardize future ILL borrowing privileges.

The Kansas Library Catalog is a searchable database that contains holdings from libraries across Kansas. Many other library holdings are available on the Internet.

Book Return

A book drop is located on the west side of the library for your convenience. The book drop is emptied several times during library hours..

Kansas State Library Card

Patrons can obtain a Kansas State Library Card free from the library. The patron must be a Kansas resident and must provide proof of such. The Kansas State Library card provides access to magazine databases on the Internet. The card is free and there are no annual costs for the card or database services.

Internet Access

Five Internet computers are available with Microsoft Word/Office. Users must sign the Internet Use Policy before using. Reservations may be made for a maximum of 30 minutes but extended usage may be available depending on demand. Printed pages are ten cents apiece.

Connection to the Internet is provided by Cox Communications through Project KIDS (Kansas Internet Donation to Schools.)
