Friends of the Bradford Memorial Library

The Friends of the Library will meet on the following dates in 2004. Everyone - members and guests - is invited to attend! All meetings begin at noon in the Clymer Room (lower level of the library).  They provide financial support for library projects and special needs. If you would like more information about the Friends, call the library at 321-3363.

Mission

The mission of the Friends of Bradford Memorial Library is to enhance the library's operation through fund raising, publicity, and volunteer efforts.

Fundraising

Money is used to augment library needs. Money is raised in various ways including but not limited to, memberships and library book bags. Their annual fundraisers include the Used Book Sale on the last weekend in August and the Burger & Bean Dinner in March.

Membership

Becoming a Friend could not be easier! Membership dues are accepted at the library on behalf of the Friends. Membership dues are $10 a year or to become a life member you need only pay $100.

Burger and Bean Dinner

The annual AAUW Burger and Bean dinner will take place on Thursday, March 11, 2004. Proceeds benefit The Friends of the Library's Projects.

Used Book Sale

The annual "Friends Used Book Sale" will be held Friday, August 27, Saturday, August 28 and Sunday August 29 at the El Dorado Civic Center.
