Strother FieldSITES AND UTILITIES
Strother Field is served by all utilities including primary and secondary sewage treatment and streets - minimum preparation is required for building. Land competitively priced - can be leased or purchased. Buildings designed to company specifications. All needs of qualified companies accommodated, including lot size, construction requirements with financing package individually tailored. Protective covenants adopted. Fire protection provided by mutual agreement between Winfield, Arkansas City and Rural Fire District.
All utilities are in place and fully operational. Natural Gas is distributed by the City of Winfield (transported by Arkla Gas Co.) with a 4" Pipeline, 35 PSI and can deliver up to 14 million cu. ft. per month for any new customer. Electricity is distributed by Winfield Municipal Power and Light with an interconnect with KG&E, a Westar company. An adequate capacity to supply the needs of new customers is available. Water/Sewage - Strother Field has its own water production, storage processing and distribution system, with underground water available in unrestricted quantities. Strother operates its own sanitary sewage disposal system and separate underground storm drainage system. Water is available through 8 inch mains in abundant supply for utility and fire protection purposes. Facilities are planned for expansion. |
