February 2, 2013 - "Shooting with Dad - Photographs by Scott & Roger Bean"

Enjoy the photography of Scott & Roger Bean.  Over the past decade, hunting and fishing trips between Scott and Roger turned into photography outings in Marshall County and across the state of Kansas.  This show contains photographs from both Roger and Scott from around Kansas, reflecting their different styles and their choice of subjects.  Join us at the Lee Dam Center for Fine Art from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  The exhibit, sponsored by the Marshall County Arts Cooperative, will also be open February 3, 7, 10, 15 and 17.  Search those dates for times.

February 7, 2013 - Evangelical United Church of Christ Soup Day

The annual Evangelical Church Soup Day will be held on Thursday, February 7th in the church basement.  Serving will be from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.  Come and enjoy delicious homemade soups, sandwiches, pies and desserts.

February 9, 2013 - L.O.V.E. Marysville, a formal affaire

Leadership, Opportunity, Vision & Excellence.  That is what we see for Marysville.  Join us at VFW Club 36, that will be transformed into a formal ballroom, for an evening that includes a prime rib & chicken dinner, champagne toast and dancing.  A cash bar will be available.  Formal attire is encouraged, but not required.  Tickets are $40.00 per person if purchased by January 25th or $50.00 after, and available at the Marysville Chamber of Commerce and Marysville Main Street Office or from any board members.  Proceeds will benefit the 3rd LifeTile Mural in Marysville.

February 10, 2013 - Sons of the Legion Dinner

The Sons of the American Legion are sponsoring a dinner of pan fried chicken and liver & onions on Sunday, February 10th at the American Legion Club.  Serving is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Febraury 14, 2013 - Romancing Marysville

The annual Romancing Marysville drawing, sponsored by the Marysville Chamber of Commerce, will be held on Tuesday, February 14th.  One lucky winner will receive over $1,200.00 in merchandice and gift certificates from area businesses.  Tickets are $1.00 each or 6/$5.00 donation and can be obtained at A Cut Above, Ar-Ex Drug Store, Four Carats, Reflections, Garden of Eden, Marysville Advocate, Heritage Inn Express, Blue Valley Tele-Communications and Marysville Chamber of Commerce.  Proceeds benefit the Marysville Chamber of Commerce Retail Committee.

February 15, 2013 - Lunch With the Arts

Have "Lunch With the Arts" while you enjoy the photography of Scott & Roger Bean.  From 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. a variety of soups, relishes, breads and desserts will be served at the Lee Dam Center for Fine Art.  Cost is $5.00.  This show contained photographs by Roger and Scott Bean from around Kansas, and is sponsored by the Marshall County Arts Cooperative.

February 15, 2013 - St. Gregory's Fish Fry

The Marysville Knights of Columbus and St. Gregory's Catholic School Fish Fry will run from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 15th in the Church Hall.  Enjoy great fish, with all the trimmings, and wonderful homemade desserts.

February 17, 2013 - Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church Fish Fry

The annual Fish Fry sponsored by Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church will be held on Sunday, February 17th from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the American Legion Club in Marysville.

February 22, 2013 - St. Gregory's Fish Fry

The Marysville Knights of Columbus and St. Gregory's Catholic School Fish Fry will run from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 22nd in the Church Hall.  Enjoy great fish, with all the trimmings, and wonderful homemade desserts.

February 24, 2013 - Daytona 500 on the BIG Screen

Let's Go Racing - Join us at the Astro 3 Theatre in Marysville for the Daytona 500 on the Big Screen!  Doors open at 12 p.m. and the race starts at 1 p.m.  A free will donation will be taken at the door, with proceeds going to Relay for Life.  Beer will be available with valid ID.  For more information contact Jaime at 785-562-6242.
