Girard

  Crawford State Park, north of town, offers a variety of outdoor fun: hiking swimming, boating, skiing, fishing, and camping. Nature trails bring the beauty of southeastern Kansas to visitors.

Bone Creek Reservoir, a 523 surface acre lake North and East of town, is stocked with large and small mouth bass, crappie, and more. One of the best fishing lakes in Southeast Kansas.

Sign at Wuth Ballfields Baseball, in all its forms is a popular summer pastime. There are baseball, softball, and T-ball leagues so that all ages from adults to pre-schoolers can play.

The city's parks include tennis courts, basketball courts, and playgrounds.
