Transportation
U.S. Highway 24 runs through Cawker City east-to-west, directly connecting it to Kansas City, Topeka, Lawrence, Manhattan, and Goodland. Interstate 70 is about 40 miles south of Cawker City and runs through Salina, Hays, and Goodland as well as Topeka, Kansas City, and Denver.
