Impromptu

Minstrel of the summer night,
A locust, in the moon's spotlight,
Celebrates with rusty voice
Things that locusts' hearts rejoice.
 
Joining cadence to his din,
A cricket on his violin,
Sitting in a stony grotto,
Plays a faithful obligato,
