Poetry of Kansas

Words.

Have twigs tossed down a bounding, sounding mountain torrent
The power to steer a course midst the hoarse foam-flecked cascades?

My thoughts have still less power to embower themselves in words;
Those words are only pounding sounds, nonsensical.
