Sharing information about the history of Mitchell County will take some research and time. A year or so ago, I came across a great 2-part series in an old Beloit newspaper that I read, thought I should make a copy of it for later, and promptly forgot to do! Sometime in the future, I hope to return to scanning old newspapers and (hopefully) find the articles again. If and when, I will share them here with you. In the meantime, read what Cutler's has to say about Mitchell County by clicking HERE. The information posted below will be updated/changed as I get more information. If you have some interesting stories about Mitchell County, please send them to me and I will post them for others to read! |
