NAME, DATE OF DEATH: Paul M. Roelfs, 95, died Monday, Oct. 8, 2001, at Plainville Rural Hospital, Plainville Kansas

DATE OF BIRTH and LOCATION: July 11, 1906, on the family farm southeast of Stockton, Kansas

PARENTS: Martin C. “M.C.” and Ellena (VanHove) Roelfs

SURVIVORS: His wife, Florence L. Lewin, of the home; two sons, Alan, Grantsburg, Wis., and Norman, Wichita; two sisters, Hilda Lamkin, Stockton, and Marguerite Shasteen, Lincoln, Neb.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren

PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: A sister, Nora Flemming
