Only information I have been able to find is that my Great Grandmother,Mary Elizabeth Sweet "Polly", was born in "Kansas" about 1882 to William Sweet and Janet McPhee Sweet. Both the above were also recorded as being born in USA... Family history has their families immigrating from Scotland and England first to Canada then to USA. Anyone ever seen this family?

John Roland Watkins was born in 1878 in Conway County, Arkansas. He was around 22 years old when he moved to Coffeeville, Kansas to work in a coal mine. John was later killed in a cave-in at the coal mine. I need the date of death and burial place of John. It is unknown if he ever married. He was supposed to have been traveling with the Couch and Williams families. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
