Dr. Marlin K. Locke, 54, WaKeeney, died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011, at his home.

He was born April 7, 1956, in Natoma to John H. and Wretha (White) Locke. He was a 1975 graduate of Natoma High School, a 1979 graduate of Fort Hays State University, a 1983 graduate of the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed family practice residency at St. Joseph Medical Center at Wichita in 1986.
He married Debra (Martin) Locke on June 20, 1981, in Salina. He was a physician at Trego County-Lemke Memorial Hospital, WaKeeney.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Nathan Locke, Dalas, and Cameron Locke; two daughters, Erin Nilhas and husband, Aaron, and Kirsten Locke; three brothers, John G. Locke and wife, Marilyn, Ferryl Locke and wife, Sen, and Leneal Locke and wife, Kathryn; and two sisters, Levetta Schultze and husband, Roger, and Janell Kriley and husband, Roland.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Delwin Locke and wife, Marcene.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Trego Community High School, WaKeeney; burial in Christ the King Catholic Cemetery, WaKeeney.
