Frances Kahler, 88, of Quinter, died Saturday, April 9, 2011, at the Gove County Medical Center Long Term Care, in Quinter.

She was born Feb. 26, 1923, in Gove County to William and Anna (Bittel) Lang.
She married Phillip J. Kahler on July 27, 1941. He preceded her in death April 4, 1996.
Survivors include a daughter, Jo Ann Brown; a sister, Nellie Goetz; a grandchild; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandson.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Michael Catholic Church, Collyer; burial in St. Michael Cemetery, Collyer.
