Born in Trego County to Joseph & Catherine (Flach) Honas. Bertha married Carl Flax on 4-6-1937 in Ellis Ks. He died 4/30/1977. She spent most of her life in Trego & Ellis counties. Survivors include a son Richard & Sister Clara Novis. She was preceded in death by a daughter Norma Jean Flax Eight brothers & Eight Sisters. Burial in St. Mary Catholic Church Cemetery Ellis Ks.
