Shawnee County, BOLES, ROBERT HOWARD, Son of JOHN (Bowles) BOLES,DATE OF BIRTH UNKNOWN,1827-1840 RANGE iGI Kentucky -married about 1851 MCCOWN, MARY Born September 22, 1835 (Familytalk History says she was a little Catholic girl who came from Ireland to live with an Uncle) IGI perhaps Tyrone, Northern Ireland. Unusual? Family very anti- catholic. Children: BOLES, John Alexander - September 11, 1852, Iowa (1880 Census Lincoln County) James Harvey, - July 1853 Andrew Jaxon - October 14, 1857 Robert Jeremiah - May 25, 1859 William Howard - October 27, 1860 Martha Emiline - November 4, 1862 BORN SHAWNEE, KANSAS This family came, according to Lincoln County 1880 Census from Indiana, When? Why? Robert Howard went away to war and never returned. Any information on Robert Howard Boles? Any information on Mary Mccown's family?

Looking for all information available on MAHAN family in Wabaunsee County. In particular, John Mahan, bn. 1812 in PA, migrated via
Blair Co.,PA, to Kansas in 1856. Wm. T. MAHAN, bn., Antietam MD, 1844, moved to Kansas 1856, died in Wabaunsee Co., 1922. Any Pictures of the early family would greatly be treasured. Wm.'s wife, MARTHA ALICE SCHEFFLER MAHAN, bn., Iowa, 1851, Married Jan., 1872, Died 1882. Any Earlier member of the Scheffler family.
