My great grandfather, William Leonard COBB, was in Hutchinson, Reno, Kansas
in 1922; he may have been there for five years, from 1919 to 1924. I am
hoping to find any information about his time there. I have reason to
believe he was a salt or stone miner; when he finally settled in Keetly,
Wasatch, Utah he was a quartz miner. "Dad Bill" was born in Middleport,
Niagara, New York in 1900; he was a veteran of WWI, and was a son of
William Frances "Frank" COBB and Mary E. BOND. Any information would be

October 27, 2004
I am hoping to make contact with any descendants
of Charles Raphe who was born "Charles Reph" 20 March 1843 in Northampton
County, PA to Simon Reph and Maria Anthony (a.k.a. Anthoni). Charles was
baptized 21 May 1843 in Christ Church U.C.C. in Moore Township, Northampton
County, PA. Charles was married to Sarah Anthony, daughter of Thomas Anthony
and Levina (Carolina) Reph. Sarah was born 25 June 1845 and baptized 1 August
1845 at Christ Church. I have learned that Charles and Sarah Raphe are buried
in Salem Cemetery in Reno County, Kansas. I have been involved in research for
the Reeb family many years and have documented the lineage (ancestry) of
Charles and Sarah Reph/Raphe back in time to the mid 1600s. Reph & Raphe are
derivatives of the original Germanic surname REEB. Any information will be
appreciated very much.
