I am looking for info on Charles Colbert he lived in Coffeyville. He was born 13 Nov 1903in OK? and died Nov 1968 in Coffeyville.
I need to know if this Charles Colbert is the son of Charles M. and Laura Horroll Colbert. Charles M. Colbert was born in IL and lived in Adair Co.,MO while growing up. I have recently discovered he lived in Guthrie, OK in 1934. Charles M. had a brother Dr. John Richard Colbert. My mom says Dr. Colbert and wife Anna lived in Coffeyville at one time. Does any one know anything about this family?

I am trying to find the descendents of Jerome and Edith Felker of Independence, Ks (1921), and if there are any descendents of Ray Anibal (1921) of Caney, Ks.
We have also been told that 2nd great grandpa Joseph C. Anibal was killed in a log jam in Coffeyville, Ks in I believe it was December. of 1883. How can I prove this or find more info.? Joseph C. Anibal does show up in the Montgomery Co., KS census of 1860.
If anyone can help me, I would really appreciate it and can reciprocate on MI help.

Looking for any information on William Arthur Shipman and nancy Wilson Shipman, moved to coffeyville aprox. 1933 from chariton iowa. he used to preach in a church there and also kept a family bible (where abouts unknown). william and nancy had 12 children. priority is with Lucy Shipman, any information would be greatly appreciated. getting desperate. I will be in Independence on Friday and would like to find the graves of my gg-grandparents, James Nathaniel and Frances Lillian (Palmer) GRAHAM. They are in a cemetery in the Independence area. I have a picture of Frances' marker (b. 4 Mar 1863, d. 9 Dec 1906).

Information for John M. Scheurer, born 1838 Germany, to America 1843.
Wife, Mary A. Eimerman
Five children, Sarah Jane, William M., Ella, Louis M., Hanna.
Son Louis M. Scheurer married Martha Pina Scott. They were enumerated in the 1900 Montgomery Co., Kansas census.
Martha had two sisters, Stella and Lillie Scott, still living in Independence, KS when she died in 1964.

Clyde was the son of Albert Troxel from Wilson County. Albert Was the son of Matthias and Leah Deah Troxel from Coffey and Wilson County (1860's)

Siblings of Clyde: Walter; Rosa; Avis (who married a "Leach" and Donna (Doan) who married a Hoffmaster.

Clyde, Iva Mae and Donna lived in Caney until their deaths is 1950' and 1970's.

On the 1880 Census there is a John Roberts listed as a farmer from North Carolina. Looking for information on him. My G G Grandfather married my G G Grandmother who live in Chautauqua co. next to Montgomery co. She is listed on the 1880 census with her mother. I believe they were married either in1880 or 1881 because their son was born on March 2, 1882. His name was Charles Henry Roberts. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm looking for a date of death and place of burial for Dr. Francis NOBLETT who was residing in Coffeyville in 1887, served as Justice of the Peace in Howard Township until he came to this city. He was a member of the A. F. & A. M., and was a Notary Public.
