SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS

Midwest Historical and Genealogical Society organizes special interest groups as the need arises. At the present we have a Family History Research Class and we offer a Sedgwick County, Kansas Pioneer Certificate.

Family History Research Class

The Family History Research Class is held the second Saturday of each month at 1 pm in the upstairs meeting room. Topics are announced in the Alert or by calling the library. Class size is limited to 10 and pre-registration is encouraged although walk-ins are welcome. The classes are not held in March as that is the annual membership meeting and has a special speaker. They are not held during the Winter (Nov, Dec, Jan).
